We aim to reach and teach young people to become more knowledgeable about Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God. Our desire is for them to mature and build a spiritual foundation rooted in Christ, establishing an intimate relationship with God through prayer, studying, and applying God’s word in their lives.
The purpose of the education ministry is to provide assistance, guidance, and resources to members that desire to pursue an education in ministry and/or the field of their interest. In addition, this ministry also encourages and promotes academic achievements and various accomplishments of young people and adults.
The Men’s Enrichment Ministry is to disciple and equips the men of Living Word Christian Learning Center in their roles as men of God, whether married or single, young or old. This ministry will provide a venue for the men of Living Word to model the life of Christ, through teaching, wholesome fellowship, and community service. This venue will also allow the opportunity for the men of Living Word to foster spiritual friendships and develop relationships through discipleship so that men can grow in the conformity of Christ.
The purpose of the of the musical and theatrical arts ministry is to minister to God’s people through poetry, passages from God inspired books, creative expressions of an array of characters and role-playing performances that demonstrate biblical principles.
The purpose of the Living Word Outreach Ministry is to fulfill the Great Commission by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ as disciples. Our goal is to share Christ’s love throughout the community and beyond. We will incorporate the “Prayer, Care and Share” strategy, which will be our model as we challenge and equip Living Word Christian Learning Center members to reach out and share Christ. The goal of the prayer-care-share strategy is to develop healthy relationships with people and then, as God leads, share how experiences with Christ have transformed lives. Not only will we continually challenge ourselves, but we will receive training so that we can effectively minister.
The purpose of Women of Purpose and Power is to empower, strengthen and encourage women to operate in the fullness of God’s plan for their lives. This is obtainable through the teaching of God’s word, application and gaining intimacy with God. The ministry will also provide opportunities for women to identify and use their unique, God-given gifts as they grow in spiritual maturity and ministry.
The purpose of the music ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song and liturgical dance with the expectation of encouraging believers in their walk with Christ. The praise team leads the congregation in worship, providing an avenue through which individuals can be an integral part of praise and worship.
The purpose of the Hospitality Committee is to help foster and promote a friendly, welcoming and caring community of believers. The hospitality committee is committed to embracing those who are visiting and interested in becoming an active part of Living Word Christian Learning Center.
The purpose of the singles ministry is to embrace and motivate singles to live a committed life through Jesus Christ, ultimately developing an intimate relationship with Him. The goal is for singles to be devoted to the authority and implementation of the word of God and biblical principles in their lives, fulfilling God's divine purpose in their lives, families, church, the community and beyond.
